Yudhishthira Frees Duryodhana

Arjuna asks Chitrasena why he has seized the Kauravas, and Chitrasena explains that Indra sent him because Duryodhana and Karna had come to gloat over the exiled Pandavas and Draupadi. At Arjuna's request the matter is laid before Yudhishthira, who has Duryodhana and his household released, thanks the gandharvas and sends them away; Indra revives the gandharvas slain in the fight. Yudhishthira gently warns Duryodhana against such rashness and sends him home, and Duryodhana leaves for the city crushed with shame while the Pandavas live on happily in the Dvaita forest.
