The Pandavas Serve Dhritarashtra

Janamejaya asks how his forefathers lived with the bereaved Dhritarashtra after winning the kingdom. Vaishampayana tells how, for fifteen years, the Pandavas ruled with Dhritarashtra at their head, consulting him in everything, while Kunti, Draupadi and the other women served Gandhari and Yudhishthira kept the old king supplied with every comfort. Yudhishthira bade his brothers see that Dhritarashtra never felt the loss of his sons; all obeyed him but Bhima, who could not forget the wrong done in the gambling hall.
