Narada Foretells Dhritarashtra's Journey to Kubera's Abode

Shatayupa asks Narada what world awaits Dhritarashtra, since Narada has spoken of the other kings but not of him. Narada says that in Indra's hall, where he saw Pandu, he heard Indra himself say that three years of the king's life remain, after which Dhritarashtra will go with Gandhari to Kubera's abode, and then range freely through the worlds of gods, gandharvas and rakshasas by the power of Vyasa's austerity. The sages are pleased and depart as they wish.
