The Palasha Image, the True Tirthas, and Krishna's Return to Dvaraka

Krishna describes the rite of the palasha image for a Brahmin who dies abroad, with the bones of the body apportioned among its parts, and names the truest tirthas: truth, non-violence, austerity, compassion, good conduct, and devotees and sages. He speaks of the Shudra's duty of serving the twice-born, the devotion that frees even the sinful, and who is a true Bhagavata, and ends with the fruit of hearing this teaching. Vaishampayana then tells how the sages departed and Krishna took leave of the Pandavas, who followed his chariot before he drove off to Dvaraka, and closes the Vaishnava teaching.
