Arjuna Asks for the Teaching Again: Kashyapa and the Siddha
Janamejaya asks what Krishna and Arjuna spoke of in the hall. Arjuna says he has lost what Krishna taught him at the battle and asks to hear it again. Krishna reproves him, says he cannot repeat it in full, and instead tells an ancient account: a Brahmin from the world of Brahma once told him how Kashyapa served a perfected sage, who described his own long suffering through many births and the path by which he reached perfection, and invited Kashyapa to ask whatever he wished.
