Brahma on the Student, the Forest-Dweller and the Renunciant
Brahma describes the discipline of the celibate student, and then that of the forest-dweller. He then sets out the way of the wandering renunciant who seeks liberation: living on alms taken without craving, hoarding nothing, harming no being, and keeping his righteousness hidden behind humble conduct. He closes by teaching that one who reckons up the senses, elements, mind, intellect, ego and the unmanifest, and meditates in solitude, is set free.
