Krishna Tends the Horses and the Chariot Rides On
Krishna unyokes the horses, tends them and waters them while Arjuna, on foot, swallows up every weapon the kings hurl at him; the Kauravas marvel, and the soldiers lose heart on seeing the chariot yoked again and Krishna and Arjuna riding off, and some blame Duryodhana for the ruin of the army. The Pandava drives faster toward Saindhava, scattering the host as a lion scatters deer, until angry kings close around him and Duryodhana follows, while the warriors, blinded by dust and arrows, cannot even look at the two Krishnas.
