Arjuna's Arrows Fail Against Duryodhana's Armour
Duryodhana wounds Arjuna and Krishna, and Arjuna's arrows slide harmlessly off his armour. Krishna asks the reason, and Arjuna explains that Drona has taught him the secret of the divine armour, which he too knows; but when he charges the Manava weapon, Drona's son cuts the arrows down. Arjuna then destroys Duryodhana's horses, charioteers, bow and chariot and pierces his hands, and the Kaurava flees. The protectors of the Sindhu king surround the two, until Arjuna's bow and Krishna's conch shake the world.

By that sound, made by the wind that filled the cup of Achyuta's lips, swelled within the hollow of the conch and poured forth, the whole world, with its asuras, its sky and the guardians of the divine worlds, trembled, O lord, and seemed to burst.
Note on the text: Removed the page's backtick and closing quote marks (a bracketed insertion).
