Satyaki and the Stone-Fighters
Dhritarashtra asks how his sons let Satyaki pass, and Sanjaya describes how Duryodhana's order sends Shakas, Kambojas, Yavanas, Bahlikas and mountain tribes against him, with Duhshasana urging the stone-throwers on. Satyaki shatters their rain of rocks in mid-air with narachas and kills thousands of men, horses and elephants, strewing the field with the fallen. Hearing the uproar, Drona orders his charioteer to drive toward it, but the charioteer warns that the army is fleeing and Satyaki has already gone far, and Duhshasana's chariots run for Drona's division.
