Krishna's Night Orders to Daruka

After making the night offering to Tryambaka with Arjuna, Krishna retires to his own tent while the Pandava camp lies sleepless, wondering how Arjuna can fulfil his vow against Jayadratha. Waking in the middle of the night, Krishna tells his charioteer Daruka how Duryodhana will guard Jayadratha, declares that he will see to it that Arjuna kills him before sunset, and orders his chariot made ready at dawn. Daruka answers that victory is certain for whoever has Krishna as his charioteer.
