The Gift of the Pashupata
Arjuna asks Shiva for the divine weapon. Shiva sends Krishna and Arjuna to a lake of nectar where his bow and arrow lie; they find two serpents there which, as the two heroes chant the Shatarudriya, become the bow and arrow. Arjuna learns the mantra, receives the Pashupata and the fulfilment of his vow, and the two return to their camp, glad and with Shiva's leave.
