Kripa and Kritavarma Defeat Dhrishtadyumna and Shikhandi

Kripa holds Dhrishtadyumna fast in battle until the Pandava warriors fear for his life, and the terrified prince has his charioteer carry him off towards Arjuna and Bhima. Kritavarma meanwhile fights Shikhandi; the two wound each other until both are covered in blood, and Kritavarma's terrible arrow stuns Shikhandi, whose charioteer bears him from the field. With the son of Drupada beaten, the Pandava army breaks and flees.
