The Reciter and the King Enter Brahma
The brahmin reciter and the king, each declaring that the other has earned the same fruit, resolve to go together, and the gods, with Dharma and the guardians of the world, gather to witness it. By yoga both withdraw the senses and breath and fix the self at the crown of the head; a great flame breaks from the brahmin and enters Brahma, who welcomes it, says that the reciters and the yogins win equal fruit, and takes both into himself. Brahma promises his own world to those who recite the great remembrances and to the devoted yogins, and Bhishma closes the tale of the reciters.
