Kunti Speaks; Yudhishthira's Curse on Women
When Narada has finished, Yudhishthira sinks into grief. Kunti tells him not to mourn Karna and explains that she and Surya both tried in vain to bring Karna to acknowledge his brothers, until at last she let him go. Yudhishthira, stung by her long silence, curses all women to be unable to keep a secret; then, remembering his slain kinsmen, he grows weary of the kingdom.
