Krishna Reproaches Dhritarashtra, and the King Embraces the Pandavas
After the king has purified himself, Krishna reminds him of his learning, of the warnings given by Bhishma, Drona, Vidura and Sanjaya, and of his own fault in yielding to Duryodhana; Bhima had only repaid the insult to Draupadi. Dhritarashtra admits the truth, says that love for his son shook him from dharma, thanks Krishna for saving Bhima, and, free of anger, embraces Bhima, Arjuna and the sons of Madri, comforting them.

Though warned, you did not follow our word then, although you knew the Pandavas to be superior in strength and in valour, O Kaurava.
Note on the text: Corrected अधिकाञ्चानन् → अधिकाञ्जानन् (misprint in Wikisource; a mistyped conjunct, ञ्च for ञ्ज; the critical edition reads adhikāñ jānan). Line 1 echoes the star passage *0035_05 (sa vāryamāṇo nāsmākam …) and CE 11.12.3a; line 2 is CE 11.12.3cd.

Then, weeping, he touched Bhima and Dhananjaya, and the two sons of Madri, those foremost heroes among men, with his limbs; and when he had comforted those fine-limbed princes, he spoke kind words to them.
Note on the text: Corrected माद्याश्च → माद्र्याश्च (misprint in Wikisource; the conjunct द्र्य is broken to द्य; the critical edition reads mādryāś ca).
