The Kaurava Army Marches to Kurukshetra
At dawn the kings allied to Duryodhana set out against the Pandavas, purified, garlanded and resolved to win heaven in battle, in three divisions led by Drona, by Bhishma's group of commanders, and by Duryodhana with his brothers. They take up position in the western half of Kurukshetra, where Duryodhana builds a camp like a second Hastinapura, with similar strongholds for the kings, and provides food for the whole host and its followers.
