niṣkāmairmunibhiḥ sevyo mahāvidyādisevitaḥ nābhitaḥ śirasi vyāpta akhaṇḍasukhadāyakaḥ
resorted to by desireless sages, served by the Mahavidyas and the rest, pervading from the navel to the crown of the head, the giver of unbroken bliss,
Verse 59 (skanda.6.261.59)
oṁkāreti priyoktiste mahāduḥkhavināśanaḥ taṁ pūrvaṁ praṇavaṁ dhyātvā jñānarūpaṁ sukhāśrayam
whose beloved designation is 'Omkara', the destroyer of great sorrow — meditating first upon that pranava, of the form of knowledge, the abode of happiness,
Verse 60 (skanda.6.261.60)
jñātvā sarvagataṁ brahma dehaśodhanatatparaḥ padmāsanaparo bhūtvā saṁpūjya jñānalocanaḥ
knowing it as the all-pervading Brahman, intent upon purification of the body, seated in the lotus posture, having duly worshipped it with the eye of knowledge,
Verse 61 (skanda.6.261.61)
netre mukulite kṛtvā śuro karau kṛtvā tu saṁhatau cetasi dhyānarūpeṇa ciṁtayecchivamaṁgalam
having half-closed the eyes and joined the two hands together, one should meditate in the mind, in the manner of dhyana, upon the auspicious Shiva,
Verse 62 (skanda.6.261.62)
taḍitkoṭipratīkāśaṁ sūryakoṭisamacchavim candralakṣasamacchannaṁ puruṣaṁ dyotitākhilam
resembling ten million flashes of lightning, of a hue equal to ten million suns, veiled as if by a hundred thousand moons, the Person who illumines all,
Verse 63 (skanda.6.261.63)
mūrttāmūrttavairājaṁ taṁ sadasadrūpa mavyam ciṁtayitvā virāḍrūpaṁ na bhūyaḥstanapo bhavet cāturmāsye sakṛdapi dhyānātkalmaṣasaṁkṣayaḥ
having meditated upon him, of both embodied and unembodied form, the radiant Viraj, of the nature of both being and non-being, imperishable — one who thus meditates upon the form of Viraj is not born again to suckle at the breast; even a single such meditation during Chaturmasya destroys sin.
Verse 64 (skanda.6.261.64)
evaṁ ca madrūpamidaṁ murāreramoghavīryaṁ guṇa topyapāram vilokayedyo'ghavināśanāya kṣaṇaṁ prabhurjanmaśatodbhavāya
Thus this form of mine — which is also the form of Murari, of unfailing power and boundless in its qualities — whoever, even for a moment, beholds it for the destruction of sin, that lord becomes freed from the round of a hundred births.
