Devarāja-sevyamāna-pāvanāṅghri-paṅkajaṃ Vyāla-yajña-sūtram-indu-śekharaṃ kṛpākaram. Nāradādi-yogi-vṛnda-vanditaṃ digambaraṃ Kāśikā-purādhinātha-Kālabhairavaṃ bhaje.

Bhukti-mukti-dāyakaṃ praśasta-cāru-vigrahaṃ Bhakta-vatsalaṃ sthitaṃ samasta-loka-vigraham. Vinikvaṇan-manojña-hema-kiṅkiṇī-lasat-kaṭiṃ Kāśikā-purādhinātha-Kālabhairavaṃ bhaje.

Dharma-setu-pālakaṃ tvadharma-mārga-nāśakaṃ Karma-pāśa-mocakaṃ suśarma-dāyakaṃ vibhum. Svarṇa-varṇa-śeṣa-pāśa-śobhitāṅga-maṇḍalaṃ Kāśikā-purādhinātha-Kālabhairavaṃ bhaje.

Ratna-pādukā-prabhābhi-rāma-pāda-yugmakaṃ Nityam-advitīyam-iṣṭa-daivataṃ nirañjanam. Mṛtyu-darpa-nāśanaṃ karāla-daṃṣṭra-mokṣaṇaṃ Kāśikā-purādhinātha-Kālabhairavaṃ bhaje.

I worship Kalabhairava, the lord of the city of Kashi, who is the leader of the assemblage of Bhutas (spirits/ganas), who grants vast and immense fame and glory, who purifies and cleanses the merits and sins of those who reside in Kashi, who is the all-pervading lord, who is an expert in the path of righteousness and ethics, who is the most ancient primordial being, and who is the lord of the entire universe.
