पापनाशनः

पाप-नाशन, जो निरन्तर सम्पर्क की कोमल किन्तु अटल शक्ति के माध्यम से संचित अपराध को उसी तरह भंग करते हैं जैसे सूर्य प्रकाश प्रभात की धुन्ध

पापहन्ता (वध) और पापनाशन (विघटन) के बीच का अन्तर काटने और भंग करने का अन्तर है। पापनाशन उत्तरार्द्ध को नाम देता है। परम्परा सिखाती है कि ४१ दिनों की दीक्षा पापनाशन अभ्यास है: एक नाटकीय एकबारगी कार्य नहीं बल्कि निरन्तर सम्पर्क।
