धर्म की अध्यक्षता करने वाली सत्ता, जो केवल धर्म के राजा नहीं बल्कि उसकी वास्तविक भूमि और अध्यक्षता करने वाला सिद्धान्त है

जहाँ धर्मराजा (#574) ने धर्म के माध्यम से शासन करने वाले राजा के रूप में नाम दिया, धर्माधिष्ठाता गहरा जाता है। जो प्रभु धर्म पर अध्यक्षता करते हैं वह उसके ऊपर राजा की तरह नहीं: वे वह भूमि हैं जिससे धर्म उठता है।
