स्वभावशुद्धः

The one whose nature is pure, whose purity is not achieved through practice but is the inherent nature of consciousness itself

जिनका स्वभाव शुद्ध है, जिनकी शुद्धता अभ्यास से प्राप्त नहीं बल्कि चेतना की ही अन्तर्निहित प्रकृति है

स्वभावशुद्ध दत्तात्रेय को वह नाम देता है जिनका स्वभाव (अपना स्वभाव, अन्तर्निहित चरित्र) शुद्ध है। स्वभाव शिक्षण भगवद्गीता की धर्म-नैतिकता और मुक्ति की वेदान्तिक समझ दोनों के लिए केन्द्रीय है। स्वभावशुद्ध शिक्षण का भक्तों के लिए व्यावहारिक उपसंहार है: हर व्यक्ति की आत्मन् समान रूप से स्वभावशुद्ध है।
