Ketu Stotram

Ketu Stotram -- a thirteen-verse hymn to Ketu, the shadow planet of detachment and the unknown, framed as a dialogue in which the sage Gautama asks Suta for the hymn and Suta answers that it was first proclaimed by Brahma. It lists twelve names of Ketu two verses at a time, then gives its own brief worship procedure -- a six-cornered mandala, an eight-petalled lotus, a dark pot for Sun and Moon, and a gift to a learned Brahmin -- before closing with the promise that reciting the root mantra one hundred and eight times removes fear entirely.
