मंगल स्तोत्रम्
Mangala Stotram (“Rinmochana Mangala Stotram”) -- a twelve-verse hymn to Mangala (Mars / Kuja), the planet of courage and energy, traditionally attributed to the Skanda Purana. Recited on Tuesdays to strengthen Mars, ease Mangal (Kuja) dosha, and seek release from debt.
मंगल स्तोत्र (“ऋणमोचन मंगल स्तोत्र”) -- साहस और ऊर्जा के ग्रह मंगल (कुज) की बारह श्लोकों की स्तुति, जिसे परंपरागत रूप से स्कन्द पुराण से संबद्ध माना जाता है। मंगलवार को मंगल को बल देने, मांगलिक (कुज) दोष शांत करने तथा ऋण से मुक्ति हेतु पढ़ी जाती है।
मङ्गलो भूमिपुत्रश्च ऋणहर्ता धनप्रदः। स्थिरासनो महाकायः सर्वकर्मविरोधकः॥१॥
maṅgalo bhūmiputraśca ṛṇahartā dhanapradaḥ | sthirāsano mahākāyaḥ sarvakarmavirodhakaḥ ||1||
मंगल भूमिपुत्र हैं, ऋण के हर्ता और धन के प्रदाता हैं; स्थिर आसन वाले, महाकाय, समस्त कार्यों की बाधाओं को दूर करने वाले हैं।
Mangal is the son of the Earth, remover of debt and giver of wealth; steady of seat, mighty of body, remover of obstacles in every undertaking.
लोहितो लोहिताक्षश्च सामगानां कृपाकरः। धरात्मजः कुजो भौमो भूतिदो भूमिनन्दनः॥२॥
lohito lohitākṣaśca sāmagānāṃ kṛpākaraḥ | dharātmajaḥ kujo bhaumo bhūtido bhūminandanaḥ ||2||
लोहित और लोहिताक्ष, सामगानियों पर कृपा करने वाले; धरा के आत्मज, कुज, भौम, भूतिदाता, भूमिनन्दन।
Red-hued and red-eyed, gracious toward the singers of Sama chants; son of the Earth, called Kuja and Bhauma, giver of prosperity, beloved son of the Earth.
अङ्गारको यमश्चैव सर्वरोगापहारकः। वृष्टेः कर्ताऽपहर्ता च सर्वकामफलप्रदः॥३॥
aṅgārako yamaścaiva sarvarogāpahārakaḥ | vṛṣṭeḥ kartā'pahartā ca sarvakāmaphalapradaḥ ||3||
अंगारक और यम के समान, सर्वरोगापहारी; वर्षा के कर्ता और अपहर्ता, सर्वकामनाओं के फल प्रदाता।
Known as Angaraka and as unwavering as Yama, remover of every disease; controller of rainfall, both giver and withholder, granter of every desired fruit.
एतानि कुजनामानि नित्यं यः श्रद्धया पठेत्। ऋणं न जायते तस्य धनं शीघ्रमवाप्नुयात्॥४॥
etāni kujanāmāni nityaṃ yaḥ śraddhayā paṭhet | ṛṇaṃ na jāyate tasya dhanaṃ śīghramavāpnuyāt ||4||
जो इन कुज-नामों का नित्य श्रद्धापूर्वक पाठ करता है, उसे ऋण नहीं होता और वह शीघ्र धन प्राप्त करता है।
Whoever recites these names of Kuja daily with faith incurs no debt, and swiftly gains wealth.
धरणीगर्भसम्भूतं विद्युत्कान्तिसमप्रभम्। कुमारं शक्तिहस्तं तं मङ्गलं प्रणमाम्यहम्॥५॥
dharaṇīgarbhasambhūtaṃ vidyutkāntisamaprabham | kumāraṃ śaktihastaṃ taṃ maṅgalaṃ praṇamāmyaham ||5||
मैं धरणीगर्भ से उत्पन्न, विद्युत् जैसी प्रभा वाले, कुमारस्वरूप और शक्ति-हस्त मंगल को प्रणाम करता हूँ।
I bow to Mangal, born from the womb of the Earth, radiant as lightning, ever youthful, holding the spear of power.
स्तोत्रमङ्गारकस्यैतत्पठनीयं सदा नृभिः। न तेषां भौमजा पीडा स्वल्पाऽपि भवति क्वचित्॥६॥
stotramaṅgārakasyaitatpaṭhanīyaṃ sadā nṛbhiḥ | na teṣāṃ bhaumajā pīḍā svalpā'pi bhavati kvacit ||6||
यह अंगारक-स्तोत्र मनुष्यों द्वारा सदा पठनीय है; इससे भौमजनित पीड़ा उन्हें कभी भी, अल्प मात्रा में भी, नहीं होती।
This hymn to Angaraka should always be recited by people; then even the smallest affliction caused by Mars never touches them.
अङ्गारक महाभाग भगवन्भक्तवत्सल। त्वां नमामि ममाशेषमृणमाशु विनाशय॥७॥
aṅgāraka mahābhāga bhagavanbhaktavatsala | tvāṃ namāmi mamāśeṣamṛṇamāśu vināśaya ||7||
हे अंगारक, महाभाग, भगवन्, भक्तवत्सल, मैं आपको नमन करता हूँ; मेरे समस्त ऋण को शीघ्र नष्ट करें।
O Angaraka, greatly fortunate one, blessed Lord affectionate to your devotees, I bow to you; swiftly destroy every debt of mine.
ऋणरोगादिदारिद्र्यं ये चान्ये ह्यपमृत्यवः। भयक्लेशमनस्तापा नश्यन्तु मम सर्वदा॥८॥
ṛṇarogādidāridryaṃ ye cānye hyapamṛtyavaḥ | bhayakleśamanastāpā naśyantu mama sarvadā ||8||
ऋण, रोग, दरिद्रता और अन्य अपमृत्यु, भय, क्लेश और मानसिक संताप - ये सब मेरे लिए सदा नष्ट हों।
May debt, disease, poverty, and every kind of untimely death, along with fear, distress, and mental anguish, forever perish for me.
अतिवक्त्र दुरारार्ध्य भोगमुक्त जितात्मनः। तुष्टो ददासि साम्राज्यं रुष्टो हरसि तत्क्षणात्॥९॥
ativaktra durārārdhya bhogamukta jitātmanaḥ | tuṣṭo dadāsi sāmrājyaṃ ruṣṭo harasi tatkṣaṇāt ||9||
हे अतिवक्त्र, दुराराध्य, भोगमुक्त, जितात्मा, प्रसन्न होने पर आप साम्राज्य देते हैं, रुष्ट होने पर उसे तत्क्षण हर लेते हैं।
O fierce-faced one, hard to please, yet free of worldly craving and master of the self: when pleased you grant a kingdom, and when displeased you take it away in an instant.
विरिञ्चिशक्रविष्णूनां मनुष्याणां तु का कथा। तेन त्वं सर्वसत्त्वेन ग्रहराजो महाबलः॥१०॥
viriñciśakraviṣṇūnāṃ manuṣyāṇāṃ tu kā kathā | tena tvaṃ sarvasattvena graharājo mahābalaḥ ||10||
जब ब्रह्मा, इन्द्र और विष्णु भी आपका सम्मान करते हैं, तो साधारण मनुष्यों की क्या बात? इसी सर्वसत्त्व के कारण आप महाबली ग्रहराज हैं।
What then is there to say of ordinary men, when even Brahma, Indra, and Vishnu honor you? By this very power over all beings, you are the mighty king among the planets.
पुत्रान्देहि धनं देहि त्वामस्मि शरणं गतः। ऋणदारिद्र्यदुःखेन शत्रूणां च भयात्ततः॥११॥
putrāndehi dhanaṃ dehi tvāmasmi śaraṇaṃ gataḥ | ṛṇadāridryaduḥkhena śatrūṇāṃ ca bhayāttataḥ ||11||
पुत्र दें, धन दें, मैं आपकी शरण में आया हूँ; ऋण-दारिद्र्य के दुःख से और शत्रुओं के भय से रक्षा करें।
Grant me children, grant me wealth; I have taken refuge in you, away from the suffering of debt and poverty, and from the fear of enemies.
एभिर्द्वादशभिः श्लोकैर्यः स्तौति च धरासुतम्। महतीं श्रियमाप्नोति ह्यपरो धनदो युवा॥१२॥
ebhirdvādaśabhiḥ ślokairyaḥ stauti ca dharāsutam | mahatīṃ śriyamāpnoti hyaparo dhanado yuvā ||12||
जो इन बारह श्लोकों से धरासुत की स्तुति करता है, वह महान श्री प्राप्त करता है, मानो एक द्वितीय युवा धनद (कुबेर) हो।
Whoever praises the Earth's son with these twelve verses attains great fortune, becoming, as it were, a second and ever-youthful lord of wealth.
