ब्रह्म का आनन्द, उस अनन्त आनन्द की विशेष गुणवत्ता जो परम वास्तविकता के साक्षात अनुभव को विशेषीकृत करती है

तैत्तिरीय उपनिषद् का प्रसिद्ध आनन्दवल्ली आनन्द के पदानुक्रम का वर्णन करता है। ब्रह्मानन्द इनमें सर्वोच्च है। अय्यप्पा ब्रह्मानन्द के रूप में वह प्रभु हैं जो आनन्द की इस उच्चतम गुणवत्ता को मूर्त करते हैं, इसे भक्ति के माध्यम से सुलभ बनाते हैं।
