चिद्घन, जिनकी दिव्य प्रकृति विसरित जागरूकता नहीं बल्कि इतनी केन्द्रित चेतना है कि वह ठोस है, पूर्ण, बिना किसी अन्तराल या तनुता के

घन का अर्थ है घना, ठोस, बादल जैसा। जब चेतना को घन के रूप में वर्णित किया जाता है, उसे विसरण के बजाय घनत्व की गुणवत्ता वाला बताया जाता है। अय्यप्पा चिद्घन के रूप में वह प्रभु हैं जिनकी चेतना में यह गुणवत्ता स्थायी रूप से है।
