अभयकर, निर्भयता के निर्माता, जिनका अभय मुद्रा में उठा हुआ हाथ वादे का जीवित अवतार है: डरो मत, क्योंकि मैं यहाँ हूँ

अभय मुद्रा, हथेली बाहर की ओर उठाए हुए निर्भयता का हस्त-भाव, हिन्दू, बौद्ध और जैन चित्रकला में सबसे सार्वभौमिक दिव्य भावों में से एक है। अभयकर प्रभु को इस निर्भयता के निर्माता के रूप में नाम देता है।
