अद्वयः

The non-dual one, who is without a second, the reality for whom no other equally real existence stands alongside

अद्वय, जो द्वितीय के बिना है, वह वास्तविकता जिनके लिए कोई समान रूप से वास्तविक अस्तित्व साथ में नहीं खड़ा है

अद्वय अद्वैत वेदान्त परम्परा का परम वास्तविकता का सबसे संकुचित वर्णन है। माण्डूक्य उपनिषद् का महावाक्य 'अयम् आत्मा ब्रह्म' अद्वय कथन है। सहस्रनाम के हजार नाम सभी इसी की ओर इंगित कर रहे थे।
