महाभगः

He of great divine fortune, in whom the six divine attributes (bhaga) of sovereignty, righteousness, glory, splendour, knowledge, and dispassion are perfectly combined

महाभग, जिनमें छह दिव्य गुण (भग) , सार्वभौमिकता, धर्मनिष्ठता, यश, वैभव, ज्ञान और वैराग्य , परिपूर्ण रूप से संयुक्त हैं

विष्णु पुराण बताती है कि 'भगवान' को इसलिए कहा जाता है क्योंकि वे 'भग' नामक छह दिव्य गुण रखते हैं।
