देवों और असुरों दोनों द्वारा नमस्कृत - जिनकी सर्वोच्चता इतनी परम है कि यहाँ तक कि दैवीय व्यवस्था का विरोध करने वाले भी उनके परम अधिकार के सामने झुकते हैं

यह शिक्षा कि यहाँ तक कि जो धर्म का विरोध करते हैं वे अन्ततः उसके स्रोत के सामने झुकते हैं, भारतीय विचार में सबसे परिष्कृत में से एक है। यह कहती है कि जो शक्ति व्यवस्था का विरोध करती है वह अभी भी उस व्यवस्था पर निर्भर है जिसका वह विरोध करती है। देव और असुर दोनों द्वारा पूजी जाने वाली देवी वह है जिसमें विरोध भी अपना आधार पाता है।
