विभूति

शरीर पर विभूति (होम की राख) लगाने की परम्परा शैव अभ्यास के सबसे विशिष्ट इशारों में से एक है। भस्म अग्नि द्वारा जो अर्पित किया गया उसे जलाने का उत्पाद है। विभूति कहती है: मैं वह हूँ जो रूपान्तरण की अग्नि का काम पूरा होने के बाद शेष है।
