वायु के प्रिय; वह देव जो प्राण-वायु और वायुदेव को प्रिय हैं, गणेश के अपने सम्बन्ध को उनकी भव्य सूँड के माध्यम से प्राण-वायु से जोड़ते हुए

वायु प्रदूषण भारतीय शहरों में एक प्रमुख चिन्ता है; प्रातःकालीन प्राणायाम करते समय इस नाम का जाप करने वाले भक्त अपनी व्यक्तिगत श्वास-साधना को ब्रह्माण्डीय श्वास से जोड़ते हैं, सभी की साँस की वायु को शुद्ध करने के लिए प्रार्थना अर्पित करते हुए।
