परमानन्दः

The supremely blissful one; whose bliss surpasses every other quality of pleasure or happiness, the bliss that when tasted even slightly makes every other form of joy seem thin and provisional by comparison

सर्वोच्च आनन्दस्वरूप; जिनका आनन्द सुख या खुशी की हर अन्य गुणवत्ता से परे है, वह आनन्द जिसे थोड़ा सा भी चखने पर आनंद का हर अन्य रूप तुलना में पतला और अस्थायी लगता है

सत्-चित्-आनन्द को ब्रह्म के विवरण के रूप में भारत की परम्परा इस नाम में अपनी पूर्णतम अभिव्यक्ति पाती है; गणेश का परमानन्द बाहर से दिया गया पुरस्कार नहीं बल्कि उस चीज़ की पहचान है जो हमेशा भक्त की अन्तर्तम प्रकृति के रूप में उपस्थित थी।
