भक्तों को वर (आशीर्वाद) प्रदान करने वाली

वरद मुद्रा (दान देने का हाथ नीचे की ओर) देवी की सबसे प्रसिद्ध मुद्रा है। हर मन्दिर में देवी का एक हाथ वरद मुद्रा में होता है। जब नवरात्रि पर कन्या पूजन करें और छोटी बालिकाओं को उपहार दें, तो आप स्वयं वरदा बन रहे हैं। देना ही सबसे बड़ा वरदान है।
