स्वात्मानन्दलवीभूतब्रह्माद्यानन्दसन्ततिः

जिनके स्वयं के आनन्द का एक अंशमात्र ब्रह्मा आदि देवताओं का सम्पूर्ण आनन्द है

तैत्तिरीय उपनिषद में आनन्द की सीढ़ी बताई गई है: मनुष्य का आनन्द, गन्धर्व का आनन्द, देव का आनन्द, इन्द्र का आनन्द, ब्रह्मा का आनन्द। लेकिन ब्रह्मा का आनन्द भी देवी के आनन्द का एक कण है। जब Diwali bonus मिले तो ख़ुशी होती है, लेकिन ध्यान में मिलने वाला आनन्द उससे अतुलनीय है।
