Gita 18.2 — 'कार्याणां कर्मणां न्यासं सन्न्यासम्' — tyaga is giving up fruits of action, not action itself। शिव's tyaga list — renounced luxury (lives in ash), renounced comfort (sits on tiger skin), renounced social approval (lives in cremation grounds), renounced even poison's harm (drank halahala)। Monks, nuns — religious tyagis। Soldiers sacrificing life for nation — military tyag। Parents sacrificing for children's future — domestic tyag। शिव mahatyagi — renounced EVERYTHING including the identity of being a renouncer — even the ego of renunciation is renounced — tyaga squared — the most complete letting-go possible。
