The one who gives birth to all beings, the progenitor of every life form

सभी प्राणियों को जन्म देने वाले, हर जीवन-रूप के जनक

जनन भगवान सबको 'जन्म' देते हैं। भारत में हर साल लगभग 2.5 करोड़ बच्चे पैदा होते हैं। हर जन्म जनन भगवान की कृपा है। 'जनक' (father) शब्द इसी से बना। राजा जनक (सीता के पिता) इसी नाम से हैं। 'जन-गण-मन' (राष्ट्र-गान) में 'जन' (people) शब्द भी इसी मूल से है। जनन कहता है: हर व्यक्ति भगवान की सन्तान है, हर जन्म दिव्य है।
