सूर्य आरती -- ॐ जय सूर्य भगवान
A devotional aarti dedicated to Surya Dev, the radiant solar deity, life-giver, remover of darkness, and source of health, discipline, vitality, time, and daily spiritual renewal.
सूर्यदेव को समर्पित यह भक्तिपरक आरती तेजस्वी जीवनदाता, अंधकार-नाशक और स्वास्थ्य, अनुशासन, ऊर्जा, समय तथा दैनिक आध्यात्मिक नवीकरण के स्रोत का वंदन करती है।
ॐ जय सूर्य भगवान, जय हो दिनकर भगवान। जगत् के नेत्र स्वरूपा, तुम हो त्रिगुण स्वरूपा। धरत सब ही तव ध्यान, ॐ जय सूर्य भगवान॥
oṃ jaya sūrya bhagavāna, jaya ho dinakara bhagavāna. jagat ke netra svarūpā, tuma ho triguṇa svarūpā. dharata saba hī tava dhyāna, oṃ jaya sūrya bhagavāna.
ॐ जय सूर्य भगवान, जय हो दिनकर भगवान! आप जगत के नेत्र स्वरूप हैं, त्रिगुण स्वरूप हैं; सभी आपका ध्यान धरते हैं।
Om, glory to Lord Surya, glory to Dinkar Bhagwan! You are the very eye of the world, the embodiment of the three gunas; all beings meditate upon you.
सारथी अरूण हैं प्रभु तुम, श्वेत कमलधारी। तुम चार भुजाधारी॥ अश्व हैं सात तुम्हारे, कोटी किरण पसारे। तुम हो देव महान॥ ॥ ॐ जय सूर्य भगवान..॥
sārathī aruṇa haiṃ prabhu tuma, śveta kamaladhārī. tuma cāra bhujādhārī. aśva haiṃ sāta tumhāre, koṭī kiraṇa pasāre. tuma ho deva mahāna.
हे प्रभु, आपके सारथी अरुण हैं; आप श्वेत कमल धारण करते हैं और चार भुजाओं वाले हैं। आपके सात अश्व हैं, आप करोड़ों किरणें फैलाते हैं -- आप महान देव हैं।
O Lord, your charioteer is Aruna; you bear a white lotus and four arms. You have seven horses and spread millions of rays -- you are a great deity.
ऊषाकाल में जब तुम, उदयाचल आते। सब तब दर्शन पाते॥ फैलाते उजियारा, जागता तब जग सारा। करे सब तब गुणगान॥ ॥ ॐ जय सूर्य भगवान..॥
ūṣākāla meṃ jaba tuma, udayācala āte. saba taba darśana pāte. phailāte ujiyārā, jāgatā taba jaga sārā. kare saba taba guṇagāna.
ऊषाकाल में जब आप उदयाचल पर आते हैं, तब सबको आपके दर्शन प्राप्त होते हैं। आप उजियारा फैलाते हैं, सारा जग जाग उठता है और सब आपका गुणगान करते हैं।
When you arrive at the mountain of sunrise in the hour of dawn, all receive your darshan. You spread light, the whole world awakens, and everyone sings your praises.
संध्या में भुवनेश्वर, अस्ताचल जाते। गोधन तब घर आते॥ गोधुली बेला में, हर घर हर आंगन में। हो तव महिमा गान॥ ॥ ॐ जय सूर्य भगवान..॥
sandhyā meṃ bhuvaneśvara, astācala jāte. godhana taba ghara āte. godhulī belā meṃ, hara ghara hara āṅgana meṃ. ho tava mahimā gāna.
संध्या में हे भुवनेश्वर, आप अस्ताचल की ओर जाते हैं, तब गोधन घर लौटते हैं। गोधूलि की इस बेला में हर घर, हर आंगन में आपकी महिमा का गान होता है।
In the evening, O Lord of the worlds, you journey toward the mountain of sunset, as the cattle return home. In this twilight hour, your glory is sung in every home and every courtyard.
देव दनुज नर नारी, ऋषि मुनिवर भजते। आदित्य हृदय जपते॥ स्त्रोत ये मंगलकारी, इसकी है रचना न्यारी। दे नव जीवनदान॥ ॥ ॐ जय सूर्य भगवान..॥
deva danuja nara nārī, ṛṣi munivara bhajate. āditya hṛdaya japate. strota ye maṅgalakārī, isakī hai racanā nyārī. de nava jīvanadāna.
देव, दानव, नर-नारी और ऋषि-मुनि आपको भजते हैं, आदित्य हृदय का जप करते हैं। यह मंगलकारी स्तोत्र अपनी रचना में अनूठा है, जो नया जीवनदान देता है।
Gods, demons, men and women, and great sages worship you, reciting the Aditya Hridaya. This auspicious hymn, unique in its composition, grants the gift of new life.
तुम हो त्रिकाल रचियता, तुम जग के आधार। महिमा तब अपरम्पार॥ प्राणों का सिंचन करके, भक्तों को अपने देते। बल बृद्धि और ज्ञान॥ ॥ ॐ जय सूर्य भगवान..॥
tuma ho trikāla racayitā, tuma jaga ke ādhāra. mahimā taba aparampāra. prāṇoṃ kā siñcana karake, bhaktoṃ ko apane dete. bala bṛddhi aura jñāna.
आप त्रिकाल के रचयिता हैं, आप जगत के आधार हैं; आपकी महिमा अपरंपार है। प्राणों का सिंचन करके आप अपने भक्तों को बल, वृद्धि और ज्ञान प्रदान करते हैं।
You are the creator across all three times, the very foundation of the world; your glory is boundless. Nourishing the life-force, you grant your devotees strength, growth, and wisdom.
भूचर जल चर खेचर, सब के हो प्राण तुम्हीं। सब जीवों के प्राण तुम्हीं॥ वेद पुराण बखाने, धर्म सभी तुम्हें माने। तुम ही सर्व शक्तिमान॥ ॥ ॐ जय सूर्य भगवान..॥
bhūcara jala cara khecara, saba ke ho prāṇa tumhīṃ. saba jīvoṃ ke prāṇa tumhīṃ. veda purāṇa bakhāne, dharma sabhī tumheṃ māne. tuma hī sarva śaktimāna.
भूचर, जलचर और खेचर सभी के प्राण आप ही हैं। वेद-पुराण आपका बखान करते हैं, सभी धर्म आपको मानते हैं -- आप ही सर्वशक्तिमान हैं।
You alone are the life-breath of every creature -- of land, water, and sky. The Vedas and Puranas proclaim you, and every tradition honors you as all-powerful.
पूजन करती दिशाएं, पूजे दश दिक्पाल। तुम भुवनों के प्रतिपाल॥ ऋतुएं तुम्हारी दासी, तुम शाश्वत अविनाशी। शुभकारी अंशुमान॥ ॥ ॐ जय सूर्य भगवान..॥ ॐ जय सूर्य भगवान, जय हो दिनकर भगवान। जगत् के नेत्र स्वरूपा, तुम हो त्रिगुण स्वरूपा॥ धरत सब ही तव ध्यान, ॐ जय सूर्य भगवान॥
pūjana karatī diśāeṃ, pūje daśa dikpāla. tuma bhuvanoṃ ke pratipāla. ṛtueṃ tumhārī dāsī, tuma śāśvata avināśī. śubhakārī aṃśumāna. oṃ jaya sūrya bhagavāna, jaya ho dinakara bhagavāna. jagat ke netra svarūpā, tuma ho triguṇa svarūpā. dharata saba hī tava dhyāna, oṃ jaya sūrya bhagavāna.
दिशाएं आपका पूजन करती हैं, दश दिक्पाल आपकी पूजा करते हैं -- आप भुवनों के प्रतिपालक हैं। ऋतुएं आपकी दासी हैं, आप शाश्वत और अविनाशी हैं, शुभकारी अंशुमान हैं। ॐ जय सूर्य भगवान!
The very directions worship you, as do the ten guardian deities of the directions -- you are the sustainer of all the worlds. The seasons are your servants; you are eternal, imperishable, the auspicious radiant one. Om, glory to Surya Bhagwan!
