Dhrishtadyumna Watches the Pandavas

Dhrishtadyumna secretly follows Bhima and Arjuna to the potter's house and posts watchers around it. In the evening Kunti has Draupadi make the offerings, give alms, and divide the food, half of it going to Bhima; the brothers sleep on the ground with Draupadi lying at their feet, and talk of weapons and war. Dhrishtadyumna hurries to report to Drupada, who anxiously asks who has won his daughter and whether the sons of Pandu are alive.

Surely she has not been joined to a Shudra or a low-born man, or to a Vaishya who pays tribute? Surely no mud-smeared foot has been set on my head? Surely the garland has not fallen on a cremation ground?
