Yudhishthira Reveals Who They Are
Drupada asks Yudhishthira plainly whether they are kshatriyas, brahmins, vaishyas, shudras or even gods, and Yudhishthira reveals that they are the sons of Pandu. Overjoyed, Drupada hears how they escaped from Varanavata, condemns Dhritarashtra and pledges to win back their kingdom. When he proposes that Arjuna marry Draupadi that very day, Yudhishthira insists that by their mother's word and their own compact she must be wife to all five. Drupada protests that this goes against the world and the Veda; Yudhishthira holds firm, and as they deliberate Vyasa arrives.
