Vidura Goes to Drupada's Court
Dhritarashtra accepts the counsel of Bhishma, Drona and Vidura, declares that the kingdom belongs to Pandu's sons as much as to his own, and sends Vidura to bring the Pandavas home with Kunti and Draupadi. Vidura travels to Panchala with gifts of jewels and wealth, is received by Drupada, and greets the Pandavas and Krishna with affection. In their presence he conveys the greetings of Dhritarashtra, Bhishma and Drona and asks Drupada to let the Pandavas, their mother and their bride set out for Hastinapura.
