Indra Drinks Surabhi's Milk; the Gods Dwell in the Cow
Yudhishthira asks whether Surabhi's four daughters are separate from the cows and which gods dwell in them. Bhishma tells how Indra went to Surabhi for the nectar, drank her milk as her calf and won immortality, and how she bade him honour the cow and the brahmin. At Indra's wish to dwell in the cows she allowed all the gods to settle in her body, each in his own place. Bhishma closes by bidding Yudhishthira worship the cow, and mentions Phenapa.
