The Offspring of Surabhi
Yudhishthira asks which offspring Surabhi bore first. Bhishma names them: the eleven Rudras, Earth, the lord Soma, four daughters (Shri, Medha, Kirti, Sarasvati), a long list of divine cow-mothers, and the bull Daksha, the banner of Maheshvara. Finally Kapila, Rohini and two other cows are given to Indra, Dharmaraja, Varuna and Kubera, the guardians of the world.
