Sumitra Is Carried to Goloka

The grateful mothers of the cows come to Sumitra, praise him and offer him a boon. He asks only for lasting devotion to cows and ruin for cow-killers and haters of brahmins, and refuses to leave his own cows. They lift him into the sky and draw his spirit out by yoga, leaving his body behind, and tell him of the tawny cows' plan. The tawny cows then crush his body with horns and hooves, and the cow-mothers curse the earthly cows for it.
