Shalva Attacks Dvaraka
Yudhishthira asks where Krishna had been. Krishna explains that Shalva, enraged by the killing of his kinsman Shishupala at the Rajasuya, had attacked Dvaraka in his absence, riding the flying city Saubha, killing young Vrishni warriors, wrecking the city's gardens and swearing to kill Krishna. On his return Krishna resolved to destroy him, found him on an island in the ocean, challenged him with the blast of Panchajanya and overcame his Danavas; this was why he could not come to the dice game.
