Draupadi Answers Kotikashya

Letting go of the kadamba branch and drawing her silk upper garment about her, Draupadi answers Kotikashya. She explains that a woman like her should not speak with a stranger, but that no one else is present to reply. She names herself as Krishna, daughter of King Drupada and wife of the five Pandavas, tells him they have gone hunting in the four directions and should return soon, and invites the party to dismount and await Yudhishthira's hospitality. Then she goes into the leaf hut.
