Angada's Embassy and the Storming of Lanka

Rama encamps his army in the forest near Lanka while Ravana fortifies the city with moats, engines and garrisons. Angada carries Rama's ultimatum into Ravana's court, shakes off the four rakshasas sent to seize him and returns to Rama. The monkeys and bears then storm the rampart, the rakshasas sally out and fight them hand to hand, and Rama and Lakshmana cut the defenders down with arrows before Rama, victorious, withdraws his army.
