Rama Slays Ravana with the Brahma Weapon
Enraged at Indrajit's death, Ravana rides out against Rama. When the monkeys destroy his army he fills the field with illusions, first rakshasas pouring from his body and then copies of Rama and Lakshmana, which the two brothers slay. Indra's charioteer Matali brings Indra's chariot to Rama, who mounts it once Vibhishana assures him it is no trick. After a matchless duel Rama charges an arrow with the Brahma weapon and looses it; Ravana is burned up with his chariot, horses and charioteer, so that not even his ashes remain, and the gods rejoice.
