Damayanti Is Recognised and Returns to Vidarbha

Sudeva tells the queen mother of Chedi who Damayanti is and how he knew her by the lotus-like mole between her brows. When Sunanda washes away the grime and the mole appears, the queen mother embraces her as her own sister's daughter and offers her a home. Damayanti asks leave to go back to her children, and is sent to Vidarbha with an escort, where her family welcomes her and King Bhima rewards Sudeva.
