Rituparna Takes His Leave
In the morning Nala and Damayanti pay homage to King Bhima, who welcomes Nala like a son, and the city of Kundina celebrates his return. Rituparna, learning who his charioteer really was, asks Nala's pardon for any wrong done while he lived unknown in his house; Nala assures him there was none and hands over the knowledge of horses, receiving in return the secret of dice. Rituparna goes home with another charioteer, and Nala stays on for a short while in Kundina.
