Lomasha Brings Indra's Message
While Dhaumya is still speaking, the great sage Lomasha arrives among the Pandavas. He tells Yudhishthira that he has seen Arjuna seated on half of Indra's throne, and that Arjuna has won the Brahmashiras weapon from Rudra, divine weapons from Yama, Kubera, Varuna and Indra, and the Gandharva arts of song, dance and music. He then gives Indra's message: Arjuna will soon return after a great task for the gods; Yudhishthira should give himself to austerity; Karna is not worth a sixteenth part of Arjuna, and Indra will remove the fear of him; and Lomasha will guide the pilgrimage to the tirthas.
